Deposit: We require a $50 deposit for any reservation of our inflatables. You may mail a check or money order to us for this amount.
Final Payment: Final payment can be made anytime up and
including delivery. However, we can only accept Money Order, Check, or
Cash at time of setup.
Returned Check Policy:
A processing fee, not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00), will be
charged for checks on which payment has been refused by the payer’s
bank because of insufficient funds or because the drawer did not have
an account at that bank.
Cancellations: The deposit is fully refundable if you
cancel the reservation up to 10 days prior to your rental date. A
$50.00 Cancellation Fee will apply to any cancellations within 7 days
of the rental date.
Rain/Wind Cancellation: Harvard Happy Hop LLC will
analyze the weather the morning of your delivery. We will call you if
we believe it is unsafe for operation. The inflatables are not designed
for use in rain or when winds exceed 25mph. If your rental is cancelled
because we declare the day a rain day, you may receive your deposit
back or apply it to a future rental within 1 year.
If there are scattered showers in the area, we will wait until
the rain stops before we can setup. Safe operation of our units and
customer safety is our utmost concern.
The following are NOT reasons for cancellation by either party and no refund or credit will be issued.

Once a Inflatable or any rented unit is delivered, all rentals are final.
Delivery & Setup: We currently offer free delivery
& setup within a 15 mile radius of Harvard, Illinois. Outside of
this distance, a small delivery fee applies. A flat grassy surface is
the ideal surface for setup. This area must be clean, level and free of
any overhead branches or wires, rocks or dog feces.
The inflatables need a minimum of 10 feet of clearance around it. We
cannot setup a unit on sand, Gravel, or dirt. We may require assistance
or charge extra for Stairs, hills or abnormal situations. We do set-up
our units indoors, assuming that the space is large enough to
accommodate the unit. Spaces that are typically large enough are gyms,
stages, shopping malls, and convention halls.
There is a Hard Surface Fee of $25.00. You must sign a rental contract,
Liability Waiver, Silly String Addendum, and pay any remaining balance
at time of setup. Our drivers carry proof of insurance at all times.
The inflatables are HEAVY and require a wide passageway to the
set up area. Be sure you take this into consideration before reserving.
For example, gates must be at least 42” for passage of the inflatable
through. Because the equipment is extremely heavy and bulky to
maneuver, we ask you to PLEASE leave your driveway clear for our
delivery crew to be able to load and unload safely and without having
to block the street.
Damage: The renter is responsible for any damage to
any rented item beyond normal wear and tear. When we come to pick up
our equipment, we will inspect all equipment for damage and should find
it to be in the same condition as when we performed the set up. It is
imperative that you ensure no sharp objects, loose jewelry, eye
glasses, or any other items are permitted in or on the inflatables. A
puncture is very costly to repair. To replace an inflatable due to
excessive damage is $2500-6000 or more depending upon the unit. NO
Shoes, Food, Silly String, Chewing Gum or Drinks are permitted. Please
clean all debris from units before we pick it up. Following our
policies and rules, you should not have any issues. SILLY STRINGS FINES
ARE $1000 and can seriously damage our units. Anyone that violates this
policy will be subject to a cleaning charge of $50.00 All inflatables
must be dry when picked up. Lessee must roll up and cover up unit if
inclement weather exist.
OPTIONAL DAMAGE WAIVER. You may accept or decline the
optional damage waiver. The damage waiver IS NOT INSURANCE. As the
renter you are responsible for any damage caused to the equipment. By
accepting the OPTIONAL DAMAGE WAIVER at a cost of 10% of the total
rental, Harvard Happy Hop LLC will waive its right to recover the
amount of loss caused by unintentional damage.
Equipment Cleaning Policy: Normal cleaning of grass,
leaves and some dirt is expected and you will not be charged for normal
cleaning. If we are required to provide excessive cleaning, we will
access a excessive cleaning fee of $100. The following items are
prohibited and are major contributors to excessive cleaning fees: Silly
String ($1000 fine), liquids, beverages, food of any type, gum, candy,
sand, rocks, toys, permanent markers, crayon markings, mud, glitter,
paint, or any other item that will mark, stain, or soil the inflatable.
